Park Jin Gyeom accidentally travel back in time (2010) when he was involved in an hit and run incident while going to the Tae Yi's university.He suddenly felt something was burnt inside his jacket so he took out his wallet and saw that it was slightly damaged as well as the card. He then immediately went inside the university to check on Professor Tae Yi if she was fine but his surprise Tae Yi was not a professor that time but a student. Tae Yi got a phone call and Jin Gyeom heard something about the blood moon, that's the time when he finally realized that he was able to travel back in time when his mom got killed at the night of the lunar eclipse or "blood moon". He tried to give a warning to his mom by calling in the payphone but it went ended anyway(dude, you should have brought a lot of coins lol) so he decided to go home right away.
Meanwhile, Park Sun Young went to young Jin Gyeom's school and asked his son if he skipped school that day to call her but his son denied it. She then had suspicions that maybe someone from her past discovered them. Worried for their safety, Sun Young asked young Jin Gyeom to tell her right away if there's a strange person who'll come to him.
Present time....
Professor Tae Yi was trying to contact Park Jin Gyeom who has been MIA ever since he got a from him.She then to the police station to check if Jin Gyeom was there but instead she saw Kim Do Yeon who look so extremely mad at her because Jin Gyeom changed a lot ever since he met her. That's also the time when she learned that Jin Gyeom got into accident and went missing after.
Past....
Jin Gyeom finally got home, but when he tried to open the door he heard his mom inside talking to his young self about drinking, lunar eclipse and super blood moon that appears once every few decades. That she want to experience watching it while drinking soju for she might not able to see it before she die. While watching them his head was aching really bad for a moment but went okay right after when he saw the drone above their house. He wanted to follow it but then he saw Seok O-Won who tried to get inside their house but then he run right after he saw him. 
Instead of following the drone he then run outside to catch O-Won and he did, then told him that it was all him after all. But O-Won told him to hurry for there's no time left and if he want to save his mom. 
So he decided to let him go and run after his mom when he heard her voice. Jin Gyeom run down the stairs right away and saw the scarf that his mom was wearing that night when she went out to buy a drink. So he run again towards home and when he arrived he saw his mom lying on the floor with blood on it. He then held her to get up slightly. Realizing it was her son from the future who was with her that time, she looked at him and told him she was grateful that her grew up so well. Knowing that she was dying at that time she asked him where was the time card and when he took it out of his jacket gave it to his mom. Son Young pressed the button of the card and it was on again like when Jin Gyeom pressed it before. She then told Jim Gyeom that he was not supposed to be there. Jin Gyeom asked her mother who tried to kill her but his mom refused to answer and told him that he should not get involved. He wanted to asked more but he heard his young self's voice going inside their home.
Back to present time....
Jin Gyeom went back to the present time safe and sound but he was at the scene where the accident happened. He then run inside the university to find professor Tae Yi to check if she was okay. Tae Yi was mad and worried at the same time at him because he went MIA with no trace. While, talking to each other he then found out that he went missing for a week when he thought it was only for a day. But then he suddenly passed out brought to ER and it was found out that he was exposed to radiation.
Alice, found out that a wormhole was opened it was Park Jin Gyeom who did it. They were wondering how did Jin Gyeom able to do time travel and now they are in search on what really happened him that day.
Jin Gyeom, went to Seok O-Won and confronted him about what happened 10 years ago but O-Won denied everything, instead he told Jin Gyeom to find his father maybe he knows what happened to his mother that night.
Meanwhile, ALICE found out that someone was trying to kill him Jin Gyeom and has an unregistered time card. Ki Cheol-Am told Yoo Min-Hyuk to get the card but, Min-Hyuk realized that it was not easy to get the card from Jin Gyeom so they decided to kidnap him instead and bring him to ALICE.
Kim Do-Yeon found out that Jin Gyeom was back so she went straight to his apartment to scold and punch him on the chest countless times for she was so worried about him because he was no show for a week. He told Do-Yeon that he was fine and he'll tell everything he knows once it is all clear to him.
In search for the truth, Park Jin Gyeom approached Go Hyeon-Seok to asked more about the case and that he wants to find his father and that he might know something about his mom's past. He then went back to the neighborhood where he grew up to find more clues and possible answer that might help in solving his mom's case. He was able to talked the butcher lady and found out that her mom was talking on the phone and the lady thought it was her husband she was talking too but only find out that she was a single mother. While he was busy looking for clues, Jin Gyeom didn't notice that he was being followed by one of ALICE people. They are monitoring his every moves to make sure they will get him that night.
Yoon Tae Yi, went to the crime scene where the hit and run happened to analyze everything. She got hints that there's a possibility hat Jin Gyeom was able to time travel during his disappearance but she has no proof about it so she asked help from her senior and found out that there is something odd with the results. That in between the one week time period there was a spiked 40times of radiation level. She then went to Park Jin Gyeom again but this time she asked him if time travel was possible and how does it work. But Jin Gyeom don't know how the card works so she convince him to hand over the time card, that she will help him figure out how it works and how to use it. She also said that if ever they will succeed, he will able to go back in time to save his mother. Since, Jin Gyeom want to solve her mom's case at the same time he wanted to save her so he agreed to Tae Yi's idea and went to his house to give her time card for experiment. While they were talking to each other the lights went out, but Jin Gyeom has his suspicions that it was not an ordinary blackout so he took out his gun while going to the door.
Yoo Min-Hyuk was at Jin Gyeom's front door holding a gun, but when he tried to contact his colleague she didn't answer, that's when he realized something was off and found out that his colleague was hurt so he had to back down and went back to HQ.
Kim Do-Yeon, found out that there's one person who made contact with Jin Gyeom's mom before she died and that person was still alive and in prison. After Jin Gyeom knew this, he went to the correctional to talked to that person. He asked if he knew his mom but Lee Se Hoon just laugh and told him that it was incredible to know that whoever comes by "The Book of Prophecy" either dies or end up like him. Confused Jin Gyeom asked what's in that book and if it was the reason why his mom got killed. Lee Se Hoon said that the book was about the end of time travel.
------My personal in takes.
Now that Park Jin Gyeom was able to open the wormhole to time travel in the past using time card without him knowing it how it actually works. I think this is just the being of everything and the moment he will able to discover how to use it with help of Yoon Tae Yi he will eventually back in time to prevent the incident where his mom got killed. I just hope that Jin Gyeom will be more careful and act accordingly, because as of the moment he is more careless of his action. He is too emotional for a person who was diagnosed with Alexithymia.
The storyline of ALICE is quite interesting, for it reminds me of DARK minus the sex part. I have few theories about Alice:
1. The moment Yoon Tae Yi discovered how the time card works Jin Gyeom will try to save his mom in the past but since this is a one in a million chance and the possibility of failure is more higher than succeeding he will be back in time over and over again just to save her without him realizing he is in the time loop already. Breaking the time loop is more harder and he must find the linchpin because that's the only way to achieve his goal.
2. The possibility of Seok O-Won and Park Jin Gyeom being one. Why? How did he find out that Jin Gyeom's mom will die that night? How did he get the BOOK OF PROPHECY when Jin Gyeom's mom has it? I think he is Jin Gyeom from another timeline.
3.Seok O-Won and Yoo Min-Hyuk are one. Maybe? after he find out that Jin Gyeom was his son so eventually he help Jin Gyeom?
4. Park Jin Gyeom will die due to radiation. At his first time travel he was exposed to large amount of radiation and as you can see it had an effect on him.
Well let's see since it's all to early conclude and we still has 11 more episodes left.
